Archangel Michael and Faith serve on the first ray of protection, faith, and the will of God. Archangel Michael, also known as Saint Michael the Archangel, commands legions of guardian angels who respond to our prayers and calls. He is known as the Prince of the Archangels, the Defender of the Faith, the Angel of Deliverance, and the protector of the children of God. His divine complement is Archeia Faith.

The First Ray of Protection and Faith

Archangel Michael’s service is deeply connected with protection, courage, faith, deliverance, and the will of God. The TSL Encyclopedia teaches that daily calls to Archangel Michael help establish protection for those who go forth in his name and service as defenders of the faith.

He is also known as the sponsor of police departments and law-enforcement agencies around the world, supporting those whose work is to protect life, defend order, and stand against danger.

Archangel Michael in Scripture and Sacred Tradition

Archangel Michael is honored in many spiritual traditions. In the Book of Daniel, he is called “the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people.” In the Book of Revelation, John the apostle describes Michael and his angels casting the dragon and his angels out of heaven.

In Jewish mystical tradition, Michael is associated with several moments of divine intervention, including the angel who wrestled with Jacob, destroyed the armies of Sennacherib, and saved the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace. In Muslim lore, he is known as an angel of nature who provides food and knowledge to humanity.

Across these traditions, Archangel Michael appears as a protector, warrior of light, and defender of the faithful.

Guardian Angels and the Power of the Call

Archangel Michael and his legions of blue-lightning angels are described as serving day and night to protect souls and cut them free from forces that oppose their divine plan. The Summit Lighthouse teaches that his guardian angels await our prayers and calls to bring them into action in our world.

This is why daily prayer to Archangel Michael is so important. The Goddess of Liberty taught that Archangel Michael is at our side and answers our calls best when we keep a daily momentum of prayers to him.

Archangel Michael has made a beautiful promise: if we give decrees and songs to him for twenty minutes each day, he will keep an angel with us until the hour of our victory.

Morning Prayer to Archangel Michael

This short protection mantra may be given in a strong, rhythmic way, especially in multiples of three:

Lord Michael before!
Lord Michael behind!
Lord Michael to the right!
Lord Michael to the left!
Lord Michael above!
Lord Michael below!
Lord Michael, Lord Michael wherever I go!
I AM his love protecting here!
I AM his love protecting here!
I AM his love protecting here!

Evening Prayer Before Retiring

Archangel Michael and Faith’s etheric retreat is the Temple of Faith and Protection, located over Banff and Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies. Students may make the call before sleep to be taken to this retreat in their finer bodies for instruction, protection, and service.

Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.
O my soul, let us arise from our abode.
Mighty I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self, with Archangel Michael and a cordon of blue-lightning angels, transport my soul clothed in my finer bodies, fully equipped with the armor of God, to Archangel Michael and Faith’s Temple of Faith retreat over Banff and Lake Louise or to the designated place of my Holy Work this night. Escort me, instruct me, and guide and protect me and all co-servers, I pray Thee, now and always as we serve to cut free all life on earth.

Musical Keynotes

Music can help attune the heart to the radiation of Archangel Michael and Faith. The keynote of Archangel Michael’s retreat is the Soldiers’ Chorus from the opera Faust by Charles Gounod. His keynote is also given as The Navy Hymn, also known as Eternal Father, Strong to Save. The Bridal Chorus from Wagner’s Lohengrin may also be used to invoke the radiance of the seven archangels and the angelic hosts.

Reflection for Today

Archangel Michael’s presence is a comfort and a strength in a time when many people are seeking protection, courage, and spiritual direction. His message reminds us that we are not alone. Guardian angels are ready to assist, but heaven responds most fully when we make the call.
