Casimir Poseidon is an ascended master whose history reaches back to the height of the Atlantean empire. According to the Ascended Master Encyclopedia, he ruled over a major colony in the Amazon Valley of South America during a golden-age civilization that existed approximately 12,000 years ago. This civilization attained great mastery in metallurgy, chemistry, mining, and other sciences, and Casimir Poseidon led his people in the ways of God. His motto to them was: “Learn to love to do well, and you shall!”

The Memory of Poseidon

The powerful Greek god Poseidon is understood in the Teachings of the Ascended Masters to have come down through human memory from Casimir Poseidon. In Greek tradition, Poseidon was known as the god of the sea and earthquakes, often represented with a trident. Among his titles were “earth-shaker,” “embracer of the earth,” “loud-booming,” and “god of security.”

In the Teachings, however, Casimir Poseidon is not simply a mythological figure. He is an ascended master associated with a very ancient cycle of civilization, spiritual leadership, and the responsibility of humanity to give glory to God for every accomplishment of science and culture.

A Golden-Age Civilization in South America

The Ascended Master Encyclopedia describes the capital city of Casimir Poseidon’s civilization as being located near the juncture of the Madeira and Amazon Rivers. The city was designed in a series of concentric rings, with beltways and connecting streets radiating from the center.

For approximately two thousand years, the people followed Casimir Poseidon’s instruction. They loved their ruler and lived under the guidance of an ascended master. Yet over time, the civilization declined as the people turned away from the light and became increasingly focused on selfishness and the development of the carnal mind.

Casimir Poseidon warned them that if they did not give glory to the Lord for the achievements of science and culture, the light would recede, the masters would withdraw, civilization would go down, and cataclysm would follow. According to the Encyclopedia, after a final warning, Casimir Poseidon and a small group of disciples withdrew from South America to what is now the western United States.

The Records Sealed in Colorado

One of the most meaningful connections for students in Colorado is Casimir Poseidon’s statement that before the destruction of that civilization, he and his disciples withdrew to North America and sealed the records of that ancient culture “in a place, the point of a pyramid now located in Colorado.”

This gives Colorado a profound place in the spiritual history of the Americas. The land is connected not only to the Rocky Mountains and the retreats of the masters, but also to ancient records, unfinished business, and the blueprint of a golden-age civilization that once flourished in South America.

In Pearls of Wisdom, Vol. 46 No. 16, “Look at What the New Generations Shall Become and Shall Inherit,” Casimir Poseidon speaks of the blueprints of the civilization of South America being sealed in Colorado. He calls attention to the unfinished work of building civilization and asks how we will assist the incoming children and young people who must face the karma and challenges of their time.

On December 29, 1996, he taught that cataclysm is not always necessary and can often be mitigated when people are at peace with themselves and send forth light to hold the balance for the earth. He called students to become “pillars of fire in the earth” and to think big — “big as Elohim” — in their calls to stop or mitigate planetary cataclysm.

This teaching reminds us that decree work and service to God are not passive spiritual practices. They are part of the sacred labor of holding balance for the earth, the nations, the elements, and the future.

For students of the Ascended Masters in Denver and throughout Colorado, Casimir Poseidon’s message is deeply relevant. Colorado is connected with the sealing of ancient records and the possibility of opening blueprints for a golden-age civilization.
